SAUER & SOHN, SUHL 16-BORE / 8x57JR BOXLOCK NON-EJECTOR DRILLING, serial no. 257101, for 1931, 25 1/2in. nitro reproved barrels (in 2022), the tubes engraved 'KRUPP-LAUFSTAHL', with broad rib engraved '8x57. J.R.', bead fore-sight, flip-up notch rear sight, 2 1/2in. shot chambers, bored approx. 3/4 choke in both, scroll-backed stepped treble-grip action with side-clips, manual side safety, top-tang mounted shot / ball selector switch, cocking indicator studs, set front trigger, partial acanthus scroll engraving, bright finish, 14 1/4in. 'tiger striped' semi-pistolgrip stock including 1/2in. extension, with cheekpiece, sling swivels, weight 7lb. 5oz.
